I am a motivated and self-taught Web Developer that loves to learn and produce things with what I learn. I started learning a foundation for HTML and CSS in approximately 2006 when I was 17. Since that time I have branched out to HTML5, CSS3, PHP, Javascript and MySQL. Why did I learn all of that? Initially it was simply out of a desire to learn but by 2009 I started using that knowledge and desire to learn in a professional environment.

With 8 years of programming experience you will find me to be a highly motivated person who works well with a team or independently to bring projects to completion in a timely manner; highly experienced in:

• Coordinating website concept, design, coding and implementation.
• Web development using: HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, jQuery, PHP and MySQL.
• Setting up web Linux servers based on Apache or Nginx in combination with PHP and MySQL.
• Developing PHP in an Object Oriented Programing (OOP) fashion.
• Understanding of MVC paradigm.
• Designing and programing WordPress themes and plugins for single and multisite environments.
• Version control using Git and Subversion.
• Using Javascript libraries such as jQuery, Backbone and Underscore.
• Integrating with API’s such as Paypal API/IPN, the Facebook Graph API, and the Amazon S3 API.
• Computer setup, program installation and computer maintenance.
